American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Estimated patient ratio of 1:3

Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the health system as needed

Weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
-
13-week contract

Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience required

IV insertion skills required
-
Telemetry experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Two professional references required: at least one from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; second reference may be from a Charge RN (no coworker references accepted)

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Local candidates are accepted

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to be completed urgently

Former employees of the facility are eligible after a 6-month separation period

Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days
