Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated heating and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various settings, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC design and refrigeration systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on mechanical systems.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems as they relate to air conditioning units is beneficial.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and property maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
