If you are passionate about supporting youth in discovering their own unique gifts and fostering their deep connection with nature, consider joining us! We offer a unique and holistic enrichment program to children 2.5 to 8 years old.
With our multi-disciplinary, holistic approach to learning, children are immersed in the natural world and related studies. Most of our day is spent in our outdoor classroom taking care of the garden, playing in the mud kitchen, and guiding children in a nature-based learning experience. In our indoor space, we use a blend of philosophies to create a special experience for our children, teachers, and families. We use the Montessori Method of child-led learning by providing a prepared environment for the children to explore. We use Waldorf practices by teaching the whole child (mind, body, and soul) and use outdoor play as an opportunity to bond with nature. We use Reggio Emilia to provide a multitude of creative outlets for children.
At Wild Sprouts, children will be engaged in:
· Authentic play-based activities
· Life skills (such as gardening and conflict resolution)
· Lost skills (such as basket weaving and fermenting)
· Using natural materials for art and construction
