Job description:
EPC company in NW Houston looking to hire a few Mechanical Designers with expertise in Siemens NX Design.
This position can either be temp to hire or just straight W2 contract. Company is looking to have somebody work a hybrid schedule out of their office in NW Houston.
** Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 from home).
- Power Generation Packaging
- Design experience using sheet, tubing and beams (weldments)
- Familiarity with pneumatic and fluid systems
This candidate will have experience designing power generation units utilizing gas turbine modular engines.
Extensive experience with Siemens NX is essential. This person should have the ability to see a required design path and organize a plan for guiding designers to complete their work.
Companies with candidates for this work include Rolls Royce, GE, Siemens, Aero, Pratt & Whitney, Dresser-Rand, Man Turbo & Solar Turbine.
