Are you a skilled tradesperson who loves working with your hands but hates the hassle of chasing down leads, writing unpaid estimates, and managing administrative paperwork? We are looking for a Skilled Handyman to join our team in Fort Collins/Boulder/Greeley. In this role, you will focus entirely on what you do best: solving problems and completing high-quality home repairs and improvements for our local customers.
We provide a consistent schedule of booked jobs, dispatch support, and the backing of a trusted household brand. You get the stability of a regular, full-time W2 position, a supportive team environment, and the independence to manage your daily projects directly on-site.
Your main goal is to deliver excellent craftsmanship and top-tier customer service on every job. Here is what success looks like in this role:
In your first few weeks: You will get comfortable with our scheduling app, meet our office dispatch team, and begin visiting customers' homes to complete small-to-medium repairs. You will accurately assess job scopes and communicate clearly with homeowners about what is needed.
On a daily basis: You will handle a variety of tasks such as drywall patches, light carpentry, door installations, trim work, minor plumbing fixes (like replacing a faucet), and basic electrical updates (like swapping a light fixture). You will keep your workspace clean and leave every home better than you found it.
Over time: You will build a reputation as a trusted local Ace Handyman. Your reliability and quality of work will lead to repeat customers, positive online reviews, and a highly efficient daily workflow.
We look for practical experience and a strong work ethic over the most. To succeed in this role, you must have:
Multiple years of paid experience in home maintenance, remodeling, or multi-trade construction.
Your own reliable truck, van, or SUV suitable for transporting tools and materials.
Your own standard hand and power tools required to complete general home repairs.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude.
These qualifications are not required, but they will help you stand out:
Advanced skills in specific trades, such as tile setting, finish carpentry, or deck building.
Experience using smart devices (smartphones or tablets) for scheduling and job documentation.
Prior experience estimating material costs and project timelines on-site.
We respect your craft and your time. By joining us, you get the independence of being in the field without the stress of running a business. We handle the marketing, billing, scheduling, and customer communication so you can focus on building and repairing. We offer steady, year-round work and a team culture that values safety, personal accountability, respect, and quality.
If you take pride in your work and want a stable, rewarding role close to home, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application and a brief summary of your trade experience. We look forward to talking with you soon.
