Mowing labor positions are a high energy, fast-paced jobs. You will need to work well with others. A basic knowledge of handheld equipment such as weed eaters and blowers is helpful. Looking for motivated individuals, ready to learn and prepared to do physical labor. Crews travel from job to job throughout each day. Training will be provided. Safe worksite practices are required. Plenty of room for growth within the company.
Job Duties and Expectations:
- Mowing & Lawn Care: Operate lawnmowers, string trimmers, and other equipment to mow and trim grass to maintain the appearance of residential, commercial, and public properties.
- Landscaping Support: Assist with other landscaping tasks, such as edging, blowing debris, weeding, and mulching, as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, including routine cleaning and minor repairs.
- Property Maintenance: Clean and maintain walkways, driveways, and other surfaces by removing grass clippings, leaves, and debris.
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients when necessary to ensure satisfaction with work and address any concerns.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of yard waste and clippings at designated locations.
Required Skill Sets and Abilities:
- Willingness and ability to operate in the winter for snow removal purposes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Positive attitude in work
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or similar outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain mowing equipment and hand tools.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, but not required for some positions).
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and demonstrate good judgment while on the job.
