TOUS les JOURS is opening a new bakery café in Powell, and we’re looking for dependable, creative team members to join our opening team.
Our purpose is simple: Delivering joy through freshly baked goods, beautifully decorated cakes, and memorable guest experiences.
Because our Powell location is currently under construction, selected candidates will begin paid training at our established Dublin/Plain City location. Once the Powell bakery opens, team members will transition to the new store.
About the Role
As a Baker & Cake Decorator, you’ll help create the breads, pastries, and cakes our guests enjoy every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality, enjoys working with a team, and wants to grow their skills.
Baking shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM, which is ideal for early risers who enjoy having their afternoons and evenings available. Cake decorating schedules may vary depending on production needs.
Previous baking or cake-decorating experience is preferred, but we’re also willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, bake, finish, and decorate breads, pastries, and cakes
- Follow TOUS les JOURS recipes, procedures, and presentation standards
- Maintain excellent product quality, consistency, and freshness
- Assist with seasonal products and custom cake orders
- Keep production areas clean, organized, and food-safe
- Receive, rotate, and properly store ingredients and supplies
- Communicate clearly and support teammates during daily production
- Bring a positive, dependable attitude to every shift
What We’re Looking For
- Baking, pastry, or cake-decorating experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliability and availability for early-morning shifts
- Willingness to learn new recipes, techniques, and production systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical duties of the position
