Fabrication Painter Job Summary Join a leading rebar manufacturing company in Ogden as a Fabrication Painter earning $18.00 per hour. Work a 4-day schedule Monday through Thursday with overtime opportunities on Fridays in a growing company that specializes in epoxy-coated rebar for corrosion-resistant construction solutions. What You'll Do • Apply epoxy coating to rebar using paint brushes and automated coating equipment • Operate coating line machinery to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes • Perform detailed touch-up work on rebar ends before bending processes • Read and measure using tape measures to ensure precise specifications • Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely through the facility • Complete quality inspections on coated rebar products • Work through coating processes step-by-step with attention to detail • Learn multiple fabrication processes to increase versatility and value What You Bring Required: • Ability to read a tape measure accurately (skills test required) • Comfortable working independently with machinery • Reliable attendance and punctuality • Own steel toe work boots Preferred: • Previous painting or coating experience • Crane operation experience • Manufacturing or industrial work background Schedule & Shift Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with overtime available 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM through the summer months Pay & Compensation $18.00 per hour with temp-to-hire opportunity for permanent placement This role requires working in a heated facility during winter months and non-air conditioned environment during summer. You'll be working with repetitive processes that require patience and attention to detail.
