Job Summary
Red Mill Manor is seeking a dependable and experienced full-time cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals while following established menus, recipes, and food-safety standards.

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, including grills, ovens & Fryers.
- Execute food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards across all food handling areas.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and ensuring ingredient availability for high-volume production.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision.
- Monitor cooking processes closely to ensure proper timing and temperature control for all dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment through regular sanitizing of surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to food safety management practices, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering environments, demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Demonstrated skill in using various kitchen tools and operating commercial kitchen equipment safely.
- Experience with recipe adherence, menu execution, and meal presentation standards.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
