Ever notice how a good customer service call can turn your whole day around? That's the job. We're hiring a Call Center Representative in St. Louis because we need someone who can be that voice for people who call in stressed, confused, or just need a quick answer. No experience? That's fine. We'll train you on everything, you just need to actually like talking to people and want to get better at it.
What the job actually looks like
You'll spend your day on the phone helping customers sort out account stuff, order questions, billing mix-ups, all of it. Some calls are two minutes, some take longer because the person needs more hand-holding, either way, you're the one making it easier for them. You'll jot down notes so the next person who touches that account knows what happened, and if something's above your pay grade, you pass it up the chain instead of guessing.
What we need from you
- You can hold a conversation and actually listen, not just wait for your turn to talk
- You're not easily rattled, some calls are calm, some aren't
- You can type and click around a computer without much hand-holding after training
- You show up. Reliability matters more here than almost anything else
- Bonus if you speak Spanish too, a lot of our callers do
Nobody expects you to have call center experience walking in. If you've worked retail, waited tables, or just dealt with people in any job, you've already got half the skills.
What you get out of it
- Real paid training, not a five-minute video and a shrug
- Weekly or biweekly paycheck
- Full-time hours you can actually count on
- A shot at moving into team lead or QA down the line, people do it
- Coworkers and managers who'll actually help you when you're stuck
