Established in 1993, Autowash Systems is the Midwest's leading distributor of car wash equipment, chemicals, and supplies for facilities with automatic washes. Our headquarters is located in New Prague, MN, and we have two satellite facilities in Iowa and North Dakota. ASI distributes, installs, services, and manufactures a complete line of products for the car wash industry.
This role’s primary responsibility will be car wash equipment installation, repairs, and shop support on car wash systems.
*We provide extensive training. Industry-specific experience is not a prerequisite.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with equipment installation projects as required. (MN, ND, SD, IA, WI)
- Fabricate and assemble parts and equipment.
- Complete shop projects and repairs as needed.
- Safely work in construction/commercial settings, which includes working on ladders, operating equipment, using power tools, welding, and performing basic lockout/tagout procedures.
- Unload products from semis and load equipment onto trailers using a forklift.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- A valid MN Driver’s License
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritize issues and manage time effectively to complete jobs efficiently.
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate a forklift safely.
- Knowledge of tools, mechanical and welding equipment.
- Flexible work schedule, with the ability for overnight travel within the greater MN area on rare occasions.
SKILLS THAT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL FOR THIS ROLE BUT NOT NECESSARY:
- Mechanical experience
- Light plumbing/electrical skills (troubleshooting)
- Welding experience
- General construction knowledge
- Willingness to obtain CDL & DOT Physical (ASI will assist with CDL certification)
