WORK WEEK/YEAR: 183-day school year calendar, 7:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with and motivate high school youth
- Positive role model for youth
- Posses, or be eligible to obtain, an Ohio substitute teaching license or an educational aide permit
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks
- Willingness to work/assist with an advisory group
- Willingness to be involved in the school improvement process
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess, or ability to obtain, a van driver's license
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with instructor to supervise students in classroom, lab, and/or on job sites; and/or monitor and provide instructional support to students in study hall or in Student Achievement Center
- Work cooperatively with educators and other teaching assistants
- Study hall monitoring and substitute teaching may be required
