Law firm seeking a hard-working, responsible, proactive, organized, and ethical Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of estate planning experience. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well with others, and be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with WealthCounsel and Tabs/PracticeMaster is a plus. Salary depends on experience. Benefits and a 401(k) plan are available.
Responsibilities
- Answer, place, and return phone calls
- Docket deadlines and ensure timely follow-up
- Draft and respond to emails and letters
- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Handle and safeguard confidential records professionally and responsibly
- Track and organize activities in the firm’s practice management software
- Provide strategic support to attorneys
- Record and maintain client information in the PracticeMaster database
- Handle court filings and errands, including trips to the post office and courthouse
Qualifications:
- Ability to track and follow up on tasks, docketing, court hearings, and deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
