Job Title: RN Registered Nurse Critical Access
Job Summary:
The RN Registered Nurse Critical Access will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical access facility in Springfield, CO. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be proficient in critical thinking and decision-making skills. The RN will be responsible for coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers and maintaining accurate patient records.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide patient care in a critical access facility
- Undertake patient assessments and make critical decisions based on assessments
- Develop care plans and implement them effectively
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license in the state of CO
- At least one year of experience in critical access nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic health records
- Ability to work in a team environment
