IB Tech Solutions is seeking a reliable and experienced IT Support Technician for a part-time on-site contract role with one of our clients in New York City.
This is a consistent, recurring schedule — ideal for an IT professional looking to supplement their income or a contractor seeking steady part-time work.
Schedule
Monday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
12 hours per week | On-site | NYC
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving as the primary on-site IT resource for a team of approximately 20 users
- Providing hands-on support for Windows laptops and desktops — setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Managing day-to-day user requests to ensure everyone has the tools and access they need
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Assisting users with software questions and common application/system errors
- Monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity for reliable internet and LAN access
- Coordinating with the managed IT partner on system updates, patches, and security
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of IT support or desktop support experience
- Solid working knowledge of Windows environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional — this is a client-facing role
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be available for all three days of the scheduled shift
Compensation
$30-$32 hourly rate — paid monthly via 1099
