About Vertical Data
Vertical Data is an AI infrastructure and GPU financing company. We operate gpufinancing.com, a lending and GPU-secured financing platform built for AI cloud providers, data center operators, and enterprises deploying AI hardware at scale. We also provide GPU procurement, managed services, and sovereign cloud solutions globally as well as Vertical Edge, an edge data center platform.
We are building the GE Capital of AI.
The Role
You will run day-to-day operations of Vertical Data, set corporate strategy alongside the CEO, and represent the company externally with capital partners, customers, and regulators. You own execution across capital markets, cloud infrastructure, and lending operations as the company scales.
Day to day:
- Own corporate strategy and translate it into operating plans across business units.
- Run day-to-day operations across capital markets, cloud infrastructure, and lending.
- Build and lead the executive team. Set goals, accountability, and performance standards.
- Represent Vertical Data externally with capital partners, customers, regulators, and strategic partners.
- Oversee governance. Board reporting, compliance, and public company obligations.
- Drive scaling decisions. Headcount, capital allocation, infrastructure buildout, geographic expansion.
- Evaluate and execute partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities.
- Partner with the CEO on long-term vision and investor communications.
Requirements
- 10+ years in senior executive leadership (President, COO, or GM) at a high-growth finance, infrastructure, or technology company.
- Experience operating a public or soon-to-be-public company. Familiarity with governance and reporting obligations.
- Track record scaling operations through rapid headcount and revenue growth.
- Experience negotiating and closing strategic partnerships or M&A transactions.
- Direct communication. No filler.
- Strong grasp of financial and operating metrics across multiple business lines.
- Based in the US or Canada. Willing to travel extensively.
Nice to Have
- Experience in GPU infrastructure, data centers, or AI compute markets.
- Background in asset-backed lending or structured finance.
- Experience operating in a publicly traded company environment.
Compensation
Compensation is a mix of base salary, performance-based bonuses tied to company-wide growth and profitability targets, and a significant equity component (from a growing publicly traded company).
