Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, and brushing walls to maintain crystal-clear water quality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and service visits for each pool.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to prevent operational disruptions.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures, including water balancing and system shutdowns or startups.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
- Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is often required; relevant certifications are a plus. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
