Food Truck Crew Member

Pay: $13-$18 per hour, based on experience, plus shared tips

About the Role
Gettin' Smashed is hiring a friendly, dependable Food Truck Crew Member to help prepare and serve fresh food in a fast-paced mobile kitchen. You'll take customer orders, handle payments, assist with food preparation, maintain a clean workspace, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and accurately take orders.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments.
- Prepare, assemble, and serve menu items according to established recipes.
- Restock ingredients, beverages, packaging, and supplies.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures.
- Keep the truck, cooking equipment, counters, and service area clean.
- Assist with opening, closing, loading, and event setup.
- Work efficiently with the team during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working with the public.
- Able to learn quickly and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Available for some lunch shifts, evenings, weekends, and events.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to [30-50] pounds.
- Reliable transportation to the truck's base or event locations.
- Food-service or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Food-handler certification is preferred or must be obtained after hiring.
- A valid driver's license is preferred if driving duties are included.
