We're seeking an Assistant Principal who is passionate about student growth, therapeutic education, and collaborative leadership. Working alongside the Principal, the Assistant Principal role helps ensure a structured, nurturing, and therapeutic learning environment while overseeing:
- Therapeutic programming and data-driven interventions
- Curriculum and instruction
- Academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Individualized special education programming
- School safety initiatives
- Extracurricular activities
- Supervision of professional and support staff
Qualifications
- ISBE type 75 Administrative License or Administrative Endorsement (required)
- Bachelors degree (required), Masters degree (preferred)
- Licensed teacher (required), LBS I and/or LBS II licensure (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience working with youth with severe emotional/behavioral challenges (required)
