We are a cabinets and countertop store with a warehouse in N. Portland. We have been serving the Portland Metro area for over 10 years. We have been growing steadily in the last few years and have a total of six showrooms in the Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro and Salem areas. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse, including cabinets assembly, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. If you are an individual with great initiative, a get-it-done attitude and with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Duties
- Fluent in Chinese or Cantonese
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload packages from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform assembly of products.
- Frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 lbs.
- Maintain an organized warehouse by keeping aisles clear and products stored in designated areas.
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to identify areas for improvement in processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, and pallet jacks is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working
