American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Sanford, NC, requiring Women's Services experience and multiple OB-specific certifications for a 13-week night shift contract.

Labor & Delivery unit within a combined OB/GYN department at a 137-bed acute care hospital
-
Unit consists of 17 L&D rooms and 5 OB rooms within a single combined unit
-
Patient population is Labor & Delivery (Women's Services)

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
On-call required on an as-needed/on-request basis

Floating required on an as-needed basis

EMR: Cerner
-
Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC
-
Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and CPI/HWC/MAB
-
Minimum 1–2 years of L&D or Women's Services experience required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

All required certifications must be obtained and current prior to the assignment start date; AHA-issued certifications are required

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment

Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted

Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays
