Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. You will implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and collect data to track progress. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop appropriate strategies.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide direct support and guidance to clients, ensuring patient care is tailored to their unique needs.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality of medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication regarding client care.
Requirements
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
- Proficient in data collection methods related to behavioral health interventions.
- Knowledge of patient care protocols, including intake procedures and medical documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
