Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels from electrical schematics, panel layouts, bills of material, and established shop standards.

Install and interconnect wire duct, DIN rail, terminal blocks, breakers, fuses, power supplies, relays, PLC hardware, HMIs, VFDs, transformers, disconnects, and communication devices.

Prepare and modify back panels and enclosures through drilling, tapping, and cutting.

Route, bundle, label, and terminate wiring with consistent, professional workmanship.

Verify wire labels, terminal labels, component tags, fuse and breaker sizes, wire colors and gauges, and component ratings.

Install and confirm grounding, bonding, jumpers, field terminals, communication cables, and control-power wiring.

Build to UL508A requirements and internal quality standards.

Execute QC steps: pull checks, visual inspections, continuity checks, voltage checks, and assist with first power-up.

Flag and communicate drawing discrepancies, missing materials, incorrect parts, or build concerns.

2+ years of direct experience building and wiring industrial electrical control panels.

Proficiency interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material.

Skilled in wire routing, labeling, stripping, crimping, ferrules/lugs, and terminal terminations.

Familiarity with UL508A shop practices or experience in a quality-focused panel environment.

Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and multimeters.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to clean, consistent workmanship.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering, production, and management.

Exposure to PLC hardware, HMIs, VFDs, motor starters, relays, power supplies, Ethernet devices, and other industrial control components.

Hands-on experience with panel QC, continuity testing, voltage checks, I/O checkout, or first power-up procedures.

Familiarity with SCCR labels, panel nameplates, warning labels, and electrical documentation.

Stand, bend, reach, and work within control panels for extended periods.

Lift and move tools, materials, and panel components safely.

Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
-
Perform in a shop environment emphasizing quality, safety, and consistency.
