Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in both electrical and facilities maintenance. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Execute welding tasks to repair or fabricate components as necessary.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Leadership skills to guide team members effectively during projects.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team and with management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $19.09 - $23.00 per hour
