Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Window Covering Technician to join our dynamic team in a unique hybrid role. In this position, your responsibilities will be split between our production facility and the field. You will be hands-on in the manufacturing, testing, and packaging of our products, as well as traveling to client sites for the precise installation of blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies.
Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive high-quality service from the moment a product is built to the moment it is hung in their space. Duties
Manufacturing & Production:
- Fabricate & Assemble: Build and assemble custom window coverings according to precise design specifications.
- Test & Troubleshoot: Conduct rigorous quality control testing on mechanisms, motors, and hardware to ensure flawless functionality before deployment.
- Package & Prep: Securely package finished window coverings to prevent damage during transit and prep them for field installation.
Field Installation & Service:
- Measure & Prep: Accurately measure windows and spaces to determine the appropriate size, hardware, and type of window coverings needed.
- Install: Expertly install a wide range of treatments (blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies) using hand and power tools, ensuring a precise fit and finish.
- Repair: Troubleshoot existing window coverings on-site, replacing parts or adjusting mechanisms as necessary.
- Client Collaboration: Communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and confirm specifications.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris following safety standards.

- Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and safe fixture installation techniques.
