Join the team behind Hawaii's famous malasadas! We are seeking an experienced, fast-paced Barista to craft coffee, greet customers, and handle front-of-house cashier duties.
Compensation & Hours
- Starting Pay: $16/hour + pooled tips (avg. +$4–$6/hour)
- Schedule: Morning shift with weekend availability preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Crafting: Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, lattes, and drip coffee; dial in grinders and operate commercial machines.
- Customer Service & POS: Warmly greet customers, take high-volume orders, and process transactions accurately using Toast POS.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean beverage station, restock inventory (beans, milk, boxes), wash dishes, and assist with end-of-shift cleaning.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous barista or high-volume food service experience required.
- Skills: Strong multitasking skills under pressure (switching between drinks and register); Toast POS experience is a plus.
- Physical: Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
