Position Summary
The Packout Associate / Job Check-In Coordinator is responsible for performing pack-outs, inventorying contents, documenting losses, coordinating the intake of items into our facility, and supporting restoration operations from the initial site visit through final delivery. This role combines hands-on field work with administrative and documentation responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable interacting with customers, and capable of managing multiple aspects of a job while maintaining exceptional accuracy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pack-Out & Contents Handling
- Meet with customers, restoration contractors, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
- Photograph damaged contents and affected areas.
- Create detailed inventories of contents requiring restoration.
- Properly identify, categorize, and document electronics, documents, artwork, textiles, and specialty items.
- Complete all required paperwork, work authorizations, chain-of-custody documentation, and inventory records.
- Enter accurate job information into company software systems.
- Verify customer information, job scope, and special handling requirements.
- Communicate job details clearly to restoration technicians and management.
- Perform pack-outs of customer contents following company procedures.
- Carefully label, inventory, pack, and transport customer property.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate box trucks and other company vehicles.
- Maintain organization and accountability for customer contents throughout the restoration process.
- Ensure all items are tracked accurately from pickup through return delivery.
- Verify item information and confirm arrival of all items once job pack-out is completed and items are back at company warehouse.
Restoration Support
- Assist with cleaning and restoration of electronics, documents, artwork, textiles, and specialty contents as requested.
- Follow all company procedures, training protocols, and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and quality control inspections.
- Support warehouse organization and contents processing activities.
Delivery & Customer Service
- Deliver restored contents to customers.
- Reinstall electronics, artwork, and other restored items when appropriate.
- Review completed work with customers and obtain required documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when working with individuals who have experienced a loss.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous restoration, moving, logistics, inventory, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience operating a 20-26 foot box truck strongly preferred.
- Experience driving a forklift is preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to learn inventory management and restoration software systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and warehouse environments.
- Ability to load, unload, and move customer contents safely.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks.
- Availability for occasional overtime and emergency response work.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
