Key Responsibilities
Laundry & Linen Care
- Wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and guest clothing as needed
- Sort and treat items according to fabric care instructions
- Maintain inventory of linens and janitorial supplies
Housekeeping & Unit Cleaning
- Perform thorough cleaning of condo units — bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas — ensuring all spaces meet high cleanliness standards
- Execute floor care routines including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Dust, sanitize surfaces, and restock guest essentials
- Perform deep-cleaning and daily cleaning tasks for common areas and special projects
Basic Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve minor issues: leaky faucets, clogged drains, blown fuses, squeaky doors
- Replace light bulbs, batteries, air filters, and other household consumables
- Report major repair needs to management and coordinate with external contractors
- Follow emergency procedures promptly and effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns
Groundskeeping & Exterior Care
- Maintain curb appeal: sweep walkways, patios, and pool decks
- Manage outdoor waste, including trash and recycling bins
- Seasonal duties: sand removal, gutter cleaning, landscaping touch-ups
Qualifications
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience within a hospitality or hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling (including Safety Data Sheets), and industrial cleaning equipment
- Experience with hotel housekeeping management or similar hospitality roles highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage supplies and maintain cleanliness standards consistently
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of guest privacy
- Reliable transportation to and from the property
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
