Langford Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists (PTs) in implementing treatment plans for patients of all ages and activity levels.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Monitor and document patient progress, communicating updates to the supervising PT.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, preparing equipment as needed.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates patients to achieve their therapy goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of New Mexico.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for helping patients recover and improve their physical performance.
