Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and components for daily service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of dishes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or culinary setting, preferably with fine dining experience
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, and food service operations
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward serving guests
