We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our Operations team. What You'll Do
As an Inventory Associate, you'll help ensure inventory is received, stored, tracked, and distributed accurately to support daily production. You'll work closely with the Inventory team and Production departments to maintain inventory integrity while meeting all company and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store cannabis and non-cannabis materials
- Process inventory transactions using ERP and inventory tracking systems
- Label raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods according to company procedures
- Stage materials for production and ensure the correct materials are delivered to production teams
- Transfer materials between departments while maintaining complete inventory traceability
- Assist with inventory reconciliations and batch completion activities
- Maintain organized, clean, and secure inventory storage areas
Inventory Accuracy & Compliance
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and regulatory requirements
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials
- Support internal and external inventory audits
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately documented to maintain compliance
Shipping & Receiving
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Prepare materials and finished goods for internal transfers and outbound shipments
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately
- Keep staging and receiving areas organized and efficient
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Communicate inventory shortages or material issues promptly
- Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned
A Typical Day
Every day is a little different, but you can expect to:
- Receive and organize incoming inventory
- Perform inventory transactions in our ERP system
- Stage materials for production
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory
- Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse teams
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environments preferred
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to accurately count, reconcile, and document inventory
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
