Hyve Pilates is a modern boutique pilates studio in Riverdale, and we're looking for a General Manager to run our front of house and be the face of the studio. This is a full-time, people-first role for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, sales, and creating a space where members feel at home.
What you'll do:
- Open, close, and keep the studio spotless and welcoming
- Be the first point of contact for members and new clients, in person and over text/email
- Sell. Convert first-timers into members, guide clients to the right plan, and hit growth goals
- Own retention. Handle cancellations, billing questions, and policies with warmth and confidence
- Track member milestones and make people feel celebrated
- Capture light social content (photos, stories) that shows off the studio's energy
- Be the go-to person on the floor that instructors and members can rely on
What we're looking for:
- A natural people person who's warm, organized, and unflappable
- Genuine sales ability. You're comfortable asking for the sale and closing it
- Reliability and ownership. This studio runs on you being on top of it
- Availability across mornings and evenings, including early opens and closes, plus weekend mornings as needed
- Comfort with technology and booking systems (we use Momence; we'll train you)
- Bonus: Pilates or group fitness certification, or a willingness to get certified. Teaching is a plus, not required
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly base plus a performance commission on memberships sold and retained
