Senior Sales Professional
Electro Magnetic Applications (EMA) is looking for a driven, experienced sales professional to help grow our business and deepen our presence in the engineering simulation market. In this role, you'll lead the sale of our electromagnetic engineering software and services, working with clients across aerospace, defense, and beyond. If you've built a career selling technical software and services and want real ownership over sales strategy and growth, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute sales strategies that meet and exceed targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the engineering simulation market
- Cultivate lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to keep our approach sharp
- Partner with our marketing and technical teams to craft persuasive presentations and proposals
- Manage your pipeline, forecast sales, and track customer interactions through our CRM
- Keep leadership informed with regular sales reports and updates
What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- At least 5 years in sales, ideally selling software and services in engineering simulation
- A solid grasp of engineering simulation tools and how they're applied
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A track record of building and keeping client relationships
- Self-motivation and a genuine drive to hit your numbers
- Comfort working in CRM software and other sales tools
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree in engineering or business
- Experience with simulation software such as ANSYS, EMA3D, or comparable tools
- Familiarity with the aerospace, defense, or automotive industries
Compensation
The on-target earnings range for this position is $75,000–$150,000, depending on experience and skill level.
