Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and beverages.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining accountability for cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with craft beer pairings or cocktail innovations to keep offerings exciting.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, including banquet or catering events when needed.
- Process cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at shift end; handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality industry experience by delivering excellent customer service consistently.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or upscale bar experience.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices.
- Previous roles involving food service or retail math skills like basic math for cash handling or retail math calculations are highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment including bar management duties when necessary.
- Hospitality industry experience that highlights excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive under pressure is preferred.

Pay: $22.01 - $26.51 per hour
