The Family Development Specialist is responsible for the training, evaluation and screening of potential foster parents. This includes conducting orientation sessions, Parent training classes, individual assessment meetings and the completion of all required paperwork.
There is a $1000. incentive bonus on this position.
A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Work or a related field is required. Experience in child welfare is required, or assessment work (therapy, parenting classes, case management, etc) with adults. Experience working with children and families is preferred.
Summary

Your role includes collaborating with caregivers, conducting trainings, and promoting adoption and foster care resources.
