We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using automotive diagnostics tools and service writing software
- Explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines clearly to customers, ensuring transparency and trust
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs to maximize customer value
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain comprehensive records of service orders, vehicle history, and customer interactions for future reference
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role within an automotive environment
- Strong background in auto service management, including familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Hands-on mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing systems
- Knowledge of automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, air brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, tire services, diesel engine repair, brake repair, suspension systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Sales aptitude with a focus on upselling additional services while maintaining integrity and customer trust

Pay: $62,264.92 - $74,985.70 per year
