Pay Rate: $2000 To $2124/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Step-Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Rome, New York. This opportunity offers the chance to care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting while collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Surgical/Step-Down unit
Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Paragon and Pyxis systems while supporting safe, high-quality patient care
Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1 2 years of Step-Down and Telemetry experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Must be willing to float based on facility needs
Experience with Paragon and Pyxis EMR systems is preferred
