Job Summary
We are seeking a hard working and detail-oriented Sign Shop Assistant. This role combines technical precision to produce high-quality signs that communicate brand identity and enhance visual environments. As a Sign Maker, you will collaborate with your fellow workers to transform creative ideas into tangible, eye-catching displays that leave a lasting impression. Working Monday-Friday hours 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Your expertise in sign manufacturing will drive the success of our projects from concept to completion.
Duties
- Interpret design concepts and specifications to produce custom signs using advanced sign manufacturing techniques
- Operate equipment including CNC routers, vinyl cutters, and digital printers for sign production
- Using tools to work with materials such as metal, acrylic and wood.
- Working the entire production process, including material selection, sign assembly, finishing touches, and quality control
- Ensure all signage complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Useful Skills
- Experience with sign manufacturing processes including vinyl application, 3D lettering, LED lighting integration, making crates for shipping
- Experience with using power tools and using a tape measure
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and managing client expectations
