Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Gutter Installer, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing building exteriors through expert gutter installation. This energetic position involves working outdoors on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that rainwater management systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine gutter placement and materials needed.
- Install various types of gutters, including seamless, sectional, and specialty systems, using hand tools and power tools.
- Secure gutters with appropriate fasteners, brackets, and hangers while ensuring proper slope for water runoff.
- Use scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in accordance with construction safety regulations to access elevated areas safely.
- Perform related tasks such as caulking seams, sealing joints, and trimming excess material for a clean finish.
- Assist with other exterior remodeling tasks such as siding installation, fascia work, or minor roofing repairs as needed.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as roofing, siding installation, or general carpentry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to building systems.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights comfortably.
- Basic understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills are a plus.
- Previous work on construction sites involving masonry, framing, or restoration projects will be advantageous.
