We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Towanda, PA. This position will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our fleet of water trucks, along with other medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment.

What You’ll Do
As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a primary focus on keeping our fleet of water trucks safe, reliable, and ready for operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and repair our fleet of water trucks
- Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment
- Troubleshoot steering, electrical, cooling, braking, fuel, and lubrication systems
- Repair drivetrains, suspensions, transmissions, clutches, power steering systems, and engine components
- Perform engine testing, adjustments, component replacements, and repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance and identify potential problems before they become major repairs
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs
- Accurately document repairs, parts used, and labor performed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Respond to occasional road calls and perform on-site repairs as needed
- Ensure repairs meet applicable Federal, State, and local requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced mechanic who can diagnose problems, work independently, and help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Approximately 5+ years of medium/heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience
- Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining vocational trucks, water trucks, or similar heavy-duty fleet equipment is a plus
- Experience with major truck, trailer, and diesel equipment systems
- Experience with both diesel and gasoline systems
- Full set of standard mechanic tools
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Strong work ethic, good judgment, and attention to detail
Candidates must be able to pass required pre-employment screening, including a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
