We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Express Service Consultant to join our service drive.
Position Summary
The Express Service Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for our express service customers. This role is critical to the daily operation of our service department, ensuring a smooth, timely, and professional experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet express customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Accurately document customer concerns and service requests
- Explain basic maintenance services, recommendations, and timelines in a clear, honest manner
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure quick turnaround on express jobs (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, etc.)
- Perform active vehicle walkarounds to identify additional service needs or damage
- Communicate job status, estimated wait times, and updates to customers throughout the visit
- Finalize transactions, review services performed, and deliver a professional close-out experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service drive area
- Support the service team with light administrative tasks and appointment setting when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive customer service role is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and professional appearance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
