Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Carpenter to lead and oversee advanced construction and restoration projects. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive expertise in residential and commercial carpentry, woodworking, and construction techniques to ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your leadership will drive project success from planning through completion, coordinating teams, interpreting technical drawings, and managing complex tasks such as framing, siding, roofing, and restoration work. Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of diverse construction projects including framing, siding, drywall installation, and restoration tasks.
- Interpret detailed construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project workflows accurately.
- Supervise and coordinate teams working with hand tools, power tools for woodworking and other specialized tools to ensure precision and safety.
- Oversee the installation of fixtures such as doors, moldings, trim carpentry elements, and other custom woodwork components.
- Manage site safety protocols including power tool safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to construction plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry (including residential carpentry), framing (metal stud or wood), siding installation, and remodeling projects.
- Strong knowledge of wood construction materials such as plywood, lumber, MDF boards; familiarity with woodworking machines; experience with fabrication processes.
- Skilled in interpreting schematics and technical drawings related to various construction disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation (including plastering), caulking, fixture installation (doors/windows).
- Ability to operate power tools safely for woodworking and general construction tasks.
- Excellent understanding of construction site safety standards including power tool safety protocols; capable of heavy lifting when necessary.
- Industry experience in custom home building, or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while interpreting technical schematics for complex projects.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
