Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation meet brand standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and processing retail sales transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations, adhering to food safety and food industry standards
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience through friendly conversation and personalized recommendations
- Create engaging content for social media platforms that showcases our café offerings, atmosphere, and community events
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and beverage service
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties while processing cash transactions and balancing registers at the end of each shift
Experience
- Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Experience in food service or café environments with knowledge of food safety protocols
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Experience in content creation or social media management is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for sharing creative ideas is essential
