Job Description:
1. Run stability tests on formulas. Upload stability data in spreadsheets timely.
2. Conduct physical and chemical testing including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, appearance, odor, and texture.
3. Document observations, anomalies, and test outcomes with accuracy.
4. Perform routine lab equipment maintenance.
5. Submit/check/modify raw material inventory in the R&D lab.
6. Check and maintain lab consumables inventory.
7. Assist senior member of the lab to generate formula bulk, as necessary, for tests and PD/Marketing needs.
8. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GMP procedures, and safety regulations.
9. Develop expertise with our software systems for R&D as well as manufacturing, or other systems and platforms as may be required.
10. Meet with raw material vendors if needed regularly to remain on the cutting edge.
11. Work with senior members of the lab to prepare lab batches and prototypes for skin care products.
Education: - Pursuing any degree with relevance to a laboratory environment. - Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
