Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Personal Care Supervisor who holds a valid driver’s license to lead our care team. This role involves supervising personal care staff, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in senior care environments, including nursing home or assisted living settings, with a strong focus on dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory care. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being of our clients by fostering a compassionate and efficient care environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of personal care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Monitor client needs closely, adjusting care strategies to meet individual requirements for dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal health regulations related to long-term and residential care facilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, and care activities using Microsoft Office tools.
- Facilitate communication between staff, clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare policies and resident safety standards.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or residential care homes.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations and health policy compliance.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care services.
- Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
- Strong background in nursing leadership or healthcare administration with an emphasis on senior living environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing operational tasks such as budgeting and financial management related to healthcare services.
