A dynamic, busy family in Tribeca is seeking a confident, professional weekend nanny to complete their team. The parents value clear communication, excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, and high executive function combined with a fun, engaged environment for their sons. The household is structured yet playful, enrichment-focused, and respectful. A full-time weekday nanny and additional service providers support the children during the week and seek a collaborative, team-oriented approach for continuity on the weekends.
The Schedule:
- Live-in weekends: Friday 8:00 PM-Sunday 8:00 PM (earlier Friday start available if desired)
- Children's typical wake hours: 6:30 AM-7:30/8:00 PM
- Paid working hours plus overnight stipend
- Availability on long holiday weekends is ideal
Live-out may be considered, though live-in is preferred due to early morning and late evening coverage needs
-
Start Date:
Ideally August 15, 2026. One-year contract with the option to extend and relocate with the family to Florida in summer 2027 for the right candidate.
The Child(ren):
- 2 boys, ages 3 and 6
- Their long-term nanny shared, "these are the funniest and most amazing boys!"
- Both are typical high-energy children, outdoorsy, they love building and climbing, and thrive with playful engagement matched with rich learning opportunities.
- They eat a healthy and balanced variety of meals and are in great health.
- They are kind, well-mannered, growing in their independence and learning responsibility with their own tasks, including taking their dishes to the sink, putting their laundry in the hamper, and tidying their toys.
- Parents encourage this independence in the boys and empower their nanny to mirror those values.
- The 6-year-old is exceptionally bright and kind.
- Diagnosed a year ago with unspecified ADHD, he has seen tremendous improvement upon relocation to a new school.
- He thrives with calm authority and clear, step-by-step guidance.
- The 3-year-old is joyful, curious, bright, and active, keen to keep up with his big brother at every turn.
The 6-year-old has a nut allergy (EpiPen) and is very aware and responsible about it.
