Shop Assistant needed for immediate hire in Green Bay!
Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a 1st and 2nd shift Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing team! The Shop Assistant will be responsible for assisting machine operators and welders with production needs, pulling parts for upcoming orders, grinding/deburring, tapping, drilling, and making sure all raw materials are accounted for and tracked accurately.
This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity! The standard 1st shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm with overtime availability and company is open to a 5 am start as well. The 2nd shift Shop Assistant will work Monday through Thursday, 1:30 pm-12:00 am. Starting wages range from $19-$20/hour based on experience level. Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years’ experience in an industrial/shop environment, preferred.
- Previous fabrication shop experience preferred, not required.
- Ability to multi-task and take on new duties.
- Experience working with basic hand and power tools.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers and other measuring equipment a plus.
