Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and prevent loss or theft.
- Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as necessary.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- A militarized background or training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the company.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
