Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and review medication and allergy lists.
- Assist providers during in-office procedures and exams related to endocrine care.
- Perform medication and insulin injections as ordered.
- Educate patients on endocrine-related conditions, medications, and home monitoring (e.g., blood glucose, CGMs).
- Monitor and report patient concerns or abnormal findings to the provider promptly.
- Manage prescription refills, prior authorizations, and medication requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate lab results and follow-up instructions to patients under provider guidance.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and care in AthenaHealth EMR.
- Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
- Support front office staff with patient flow and coordination when needed.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Kansas
- Proficiency in or experience with AthenaHealth EMR is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.
Schedule:
Part-time, Monday–Friday 20-25 hours
(No weekends or major holidays; schedule may vary based on clinic needs)
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
