Position Overview:
We are searching for a Project Manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, coordinating with internal and external teams, and supporting successful through effective planning, communication, and organization. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintain schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations. Experience supporting engineering or technical projects, including coordination with electrical engineering teams, is a plus.
This position is ideally suited for candidates located near Lakewood, CO, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements. Remote work may be considered for qualified candidates based on role requirements and business needs. Some travel may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and deliverables tracking to support successful project execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, vendors, and engineering disciplines including electrical engineering to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project requirements.
- Support projects involving electrical systems, power distribution, controls, instrumentation, or related technical infrastructure, including coordination with applicable NFPA 70E and safety practices.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and technical or progress documentation to stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting documentation, and follow-up on action items.
- Support contract administration, including review of scope, deliverables, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company quality control procedures.
- Track project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation in coordination with leadership.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project life cycle.
- Support proposal development and project planning efforts as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement or project management processes and best practices.
- Work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
- 5-7 years of project management, engineering, construction, or related experience.
- Experience managing projects through multiple phases, including planning, execution, scheduling, and closeout.
- Familiarity with electrical safety principles, including arc flash awareness and NFPA 70E requirements, is a plus.
- Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and competing priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of project coordination, contract administration, and change management processes.
- Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
- Familiarity with project management software and document control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within team environments.
- Willingness to conduct occasional site visits and travel as required.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications relevant to assigned duties and project requirements.

- Candidate must successfully pass a background check, which may include verification of employment, education, and other records in accordance with state, local, and federal requirements.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access authorization for federal, government, and other secure facilities/sites required.
